Looking for a place to store your document archive?
We’re here for you – for all your storage needs!
About us
Ichsun Kol has been providing storage and archiving services for over 30 years. In contrast to other companies that cater to enterprise clients and large warehouses, we focus on private clients and personal storage – this is our specialty, and that’s why we’re so good at it.
Our services
We offer each client a personal storage unit at a fixed monthly rate, for as long as they need it. All storage units are located inside a well-maintained and clean building. Each unit is private and locked with a personal key.
Pricing
We offer various storage units at various sizes. A storage unit’s size is evaluated in cubic meters (m3). 1 cubic meter = 1 square meter which a height of 1 meter.
The cost of renting a private warehouse according to its size, therefore, according to a calculation of NIS 40 for each cubic meter (for each month) will be the cost of renting the warehouse for the entire period. How to pick the right size for you
Everyone has different needs when it comes to storage, and so, different size storage units will fit different people. We at Ichsun Kol don’t want you to pay extra for space that you don’t need, so instead of renting a unit that may be too large for you, we offer to evaluate the overall size of the things you’d like to store and provide you with a custom price quote based on the size of the storage unit that would fit you most.
- A few loose items and boxes would likely fit in a smaller unit of just 7-8 m3.
- Contents of a single bedroom apartment usually require a unit of 10-15 m3.
- A larger apartment’s contents (3-4 bedrooms) will probably need 20-30 m3.
- Storing the contents of an entire private home can reach 40 m3 and beyond (discounts applicable).
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the building that the storage units are located in protected?
Our storage units are protected by a security company as well as technological means. All the units are hermetically sealed against water, and the entire building is made of concrete blocks in order to preserve an optimal temperature inside all year long. All units pass regular pest control inspections and are cleaned regularly when not in use. When leasing a unit to a new customer, we make sure that they avoid bringing food items with them to the location in order to preserve the hygiene standard of our storage units.
Do I have to commit for a specific time period?
Not at all!
You may end your rental period at any time you wish, and signing out is just as easy as signing in, subject only to two conditions:
- All debts for your storage units must be settled (i.e., pay any remaining bills and then you can clear the unit).
- The contract can be ended only during the facility’s working days (Sunday through Thursday, closed on weekends and holidays).
How does payment work?
For example: Let’s say you’ve rented a unit for a price of 400 ILS at the 20th day of the month. You will be billed for 400 ILS on each 20th day of each consecutive month. On the last month (the month on which you decided to end your rental period, and under the condition that it is not the same month as the first), you’ll be billed based on a weekly rate, which would be a quarter of your usual monthly rate.
Based on the example above, if you’re ending your rental on day 1-7 of the month (that is, the first week of your rental period takes place between the 20th and 26th day of the month), then you will be billed 100 ILS. If you’re ending it on day 8-14, you’ll need to pay 200 ILS. Day 15-21 – 300 ILS. If you’re ending your rental on day 22 and on, then you’ll be billed for the full monthly rate (once again, based on the example above – the rental month begins on the 20th day of each month and ends on the 19th day).
What if I prepaid my rent but want to leave before it’s due?
What happens if I don’t pay?
Do you have a warranty policy?
- Break-in or theft:
Every unit has a lock, which the client should maintain locked when not inside the unit. Also, each unit has an alarm system and is monitored by our security company, so you can sleep easy at night, knowing that your storage is safe. - Damage caused within the storage unit
Usually occurs due to incorrect arrangement or lack of care by the unit’s user or an entity using the storage on their behalf. Since the storage unit is locked, and no one besides the client (or entities on their behalf) can enter the unit, our company cannot be liable to most damages. Examples of case in which the liability would be borne by the client: A broken glass table that broke as a result of someone placing a heavy piece of iron on it, leakage from a shampoo bottle placed inside a cardboard box that’s upside-down, etc. - Damage caused by force majeure, war, etc.
In most cases, insurance companies do not provide coverage for such cases, and therefore, the storage company will not be liable in such circumstances either. - Damage caused by a third party
The agreed-upon compensation shall be equivalent to the insurance value that exists at the time, as purchased, and\or as provided by the storage\insurance company, and in accordance with the insurance policy – minus any deductible(s) that may be applicable as per the insurance policy.
Is there any insurance?
Our insurance policy covers water damage, fire damage, break-ins, and earthquake (the 4 most common causes for damage within storage units). As of the time of writing this FAQ, we never had to activate this policy – a testimony to the quality of the service provided by Ichsun Kol.
